On June 7 and 9 at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne L2R supported Baker Boy as part of the Positive Start in 2022 program, MEGAMIX Social is open to all students who attend a government or low-fee non-government school.
Curated by MzRizk with young music fans in mind, this performance was rare opportunity for students to experience live music, during school time in a safe and supportive environment.
MEGAMIX was hosted by Tiktok creators Swag on the Beat and included support acts Halo Vocal Ensemble and L2R Dance. This two day event provided employment for 10 of L2R's emerging and professional dancers while providing opportunity for the crew to perform on an iconic Melbourne Arts venue.
It's truly exciting to see so many young faces light up and connect through the power and freedom of dance and music. Its good to be back- One language dance!
