Dance Massive’s flagship free outdoor event DANCE MASSIVE created opportunity for the diverse street dance communities that give our city vibrancy all year round an opportunity to showcase, battle and celebrate. Shout out to Cypher Culture, Dance Massive and Arts Centre Melbourne for putting on the jam and bringing the hip hop community together. L2R was so excited to see the Young Masters Crew open up the event. Check out this epic shot of Bboy Lonowon - image by Sarah Walker.

Our CEO Jacinda Richards was excited to be asked to be a guest panellist alongside Mariaa Randall, Priya Srinivasan, Freddie Opoku-Addaie in conversation with Rachel Fensham in the WHAT NOW Conversation Series held at the VCA. Who gets to dance? – Gender and privilege in dance. Some interesting, critical and thought provoking conversations which asked of us all to pay attention, reflect, challenge and question our practice.

L2R acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we unite and dance, the Boonwurrung and the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. L2R pays respect to their Elders both past, present and emerging.
