“In 10 years, I see myself as being rich and famous.”
Can you tell me how you first got into dancing?
“Firstly, I saw my friends had started dancing and I thought it was cool. I also thought that dancing might help me get some girls.”
Why is dance important to you?
‘Dancing is all I got.’
Can you explain to me how and where you practice dancing?
“I practice everywhere, studios, on the street and sometimes at my house.”
How does performing make you feel?
“It makes me happy when I can put a smile on other people’s faces.”
Does your cultural background play a role in your dance practice?
“My cultural background doesn’t play any role in my dancing because my culture doesn’t like hip hop”. (Asian SMH)
Talk to me about Hip Hop. What do you like about hip hop?
“in hip hop ya can be yaself, and if anyone’s going to judge ya for it, ya can smoke em.”
What role does L2R play in your life?
“important role, it’s also a job but it’s also a family.”
What exciting projects do you have coming up?
“The Kith project and the L2R Experience.”
