Next Gen unites young people aged 12-25 years from across Melbourne’s west and is an open class, suitable for all levels of dance.

Next Gen provides a safe, creative space for self- expression, confidence building and skills development, while developing a connection to community and peers. Our focus is on the process not the outcome, liberating the body through movement so we can let loose and soak up the endorphins. This class is vibrant, fun and high energy, that promotes a peer-to-peer mentoring model to ensure we are nurturing the next generation of artistic and Cultural Leaders.

Next Gen members embrace diversity and by training in hip hop and street dance foundations we encourage young people to develop their own unique and individual style. Next Gen loves to share and unite community through dance and is often invited to perform at local events and festivals.

Auslan Access: Many of our team have completed Deaf awareness training. Deaf and hard of hearing young people, can talk to us about joining all our programs with NDIS access support.
